Congratulations to former Coolum State High School student Isabella Nichols on winning the Margaret River Pro last week. The win sees Isabella claim her first World Surf League (WSL) tour event win and the podium finish sees Isabella now ranked number five in the world- an outstanding result! Isabella is now the first female surfer from the Sunshine Coast to win a WSL event. Isabella who is 24 started surfing when she was just nine years old and has worked hard on the professional tour since winning the World Junior Championships in 2016.
