Coolum artists Helena Jackson-Lloyd and Tony Coles cordially invite all art lovers to their Open Studios event running over the weekend of March 26-28 in an effort to allow the public to get up close and personal with the creative process.
Mr Coles said that the beauty of the event is that people can meet the artists.
“The public are invited to the artists’ studios, they can meet the artist/s, see artworks in progress and they also have the opportunity to purchase if they desire – it’s a unique experience.”
Helena and Tony’s Open Studio is one of the many studios and galleries that will be open on the Open Studios Sunshine Coast trail.
Helena and Tony are both established contemporary artists with extensive exhibition histories. Both artists have won numerous art awards and Tony is a finalist in this year’s Sunshine Coast Art Prize.
The artists look forward to meeting fresh and familiar faces at Open Studios Sunshine Coast and their studio is located at 5/30 Access Crescent, Coolum Beach in the industrial estate, opposite ‘Cool Art Picture Framing and Gallery’.
