The Coolum Civic Centre will play host to the music of Leonard Cohen on Saturday June 5 with ‘The Spirit of Leonard Cohen Show’ performing for just one night and the Advertiser has a double pass to give away to a lucky reader.
Leonard Cohen’s music is known the world over with his haunting song – ‘Hallelujah’ which has been covered and made famous by the likes of Jeff Buckley and KD Lang, one of his most well known. His brooding and deep voice and poetically inspired lyrics make for music that paints a rich tapestry of life and love.
The Spirit of Leonard Cohen will bring to the stage Cohen’ life of poetry, song-writing, drugs, sex, spiritual searching, depression, political thought and eventual peace in a stage cabaret which is being brought to life by Jonathan Anstock and friends.
