THIS Saturday November 27 from 8.30am to 12.30pm the Yandina Branch of the Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) will be holding their Christmas Craft Stall in the QCWA Hall at 11 Stevens Street, Yandina. The ladies have been busy making craft items including carry bags, topped tea towels, crocheted clothing and rugs, knitted tea cosies, toys and Christmas ornaments. There will also be baked goodies like shortbread and preserves (jams and chutneys) available for purchase along with potted plants. Members of the community are invited to come along and purchase these high-quality and lovingly made items as gifts or to treat themselves.
Funds raised from the stall will allow the branch to continue to support others in need including members of the local community, like school children and those impacted by domestic violence, as well as families in rural areas.
