Coast Care Launch 2025 Calendar

Arriving hot off the presses on Thursday, October 3 the annual Coolum and North Shore Coast Care Calendar was delivered to the Coolum Native Nursery and was celebrated by the photographers (pictured) who had their images featured in the glossy calendar. The calendar serves as one of the main fundraisers each year for the environmental advocacy group and champions images of flora, fauna and landscapes located in our region. COOLUM and North Shore Coast Care have officially launched their 2025 Calendar and are thrilled with the outcome.

Calendar Coordinator Lutz Kramer said the response to the call out for submissions was huge.

“We had 970 images sent in from 51 photographers and we have used 61 of those in the calendar and this year there has been a focus on some landscapes.

“The front page features Mt Ninderry and we show all various items and lots of birds, I must have received about 450 bird images!”

Lutz further stated that the whole volunteer group was happy with the outcome.

“This calendar celebrates the natural beauty and landmarks of our Sunshine Coast. It is a yearlong reminder of our work and the extraordinary world that we live in.”  

 The calendar raises funds for Coolum and North Shore Coast Care and their practical activities to protect and conserve coastal fauna and flora. Still only $10.00 the calendar can be purchased at the following locations whilst they are available –
