Thank you to the mother and daughter in Peregian Springs for their display of kindness.
Recently the contracting crew who were placing asphalt humps at the newly raised pedestrian crossings in Peregian Springs were struggling with the heat. It was around 55 degrees behind the paver.
A lovely woman and her daughter arrived with three bags full of ice and cold drinks for the workers. It was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The workers were blown away – “It is nice to know that there is still plenty of kindness and generosity within our community”.
They did not get her name, and we cannot thank them properly. I hope this lady and her daughter see this and know what a difference it made to the workers. Thank you for being kind.
