IN 2024, Peregian Family and Friends (PF&F) conducted a community survey, and one of the resounding comments regarding fundraising and donations was that those surveyed wanted us to support domestic violence services and children.

PF&F President Graham was only too happy to oblige.

”We are proud to announce a $5,000 donation to SunnyKids, which is an incredible local organisation that has been supporting children and families experiencing domestic and family violence and hardship on the Sunshine Coast for 25 years.”

“SunnyKids provides life-changing services to those in need, and we’re honoured to contribute to their vital work. Many thanks to our members and followers for guiding our giving. As a local not-for-profit organisation, PF&F couldn’t do this without you,” Graham said.

Kathleen Hope, CEO of SunnyKids said that she was “so grateful for the donation.”

“These funds will go towards supporting vulnerable families in both the Noosa Shire and Sunshine Coast Council regions.

“We continue to see a significant increase in families struggling in both of these regions, and support from community groups like Peregian Family and Friends helps us take the pressure off those who need it most.”
